Julia Edwards, PA at Cermak Immediate Care and NewMed Immediate Care in Illinois

Julia Edwards is a Certified Physician Assistant working at Cermak Medical Group. Originally from St. Charles, IL, Julia has long-since been committed to serving the Chicagoland area, volunteering for several organizations that provide communities in need with access to food and primary healthcare services. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Chicago and her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Northwestern University. 

Julia worked as a Hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial/Shirley Ryan Ability lab for several years and joined Cermak Medical Group in 2024, where she now applies her knowledge of internal medicine, wound care, pain medicine, and psychology to treating patients holistically. 

Julia is an empathetic listener who is passionate about getting individuals back to doing the things that give them joy as quickly as possible. 

In her free time Julia enjoys gardening, composting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones, including her cat, Zoe.
